First Class cricket is the term used for domestic matches played in a country. First Class cricket is also used to describe matches played by a test team against a local team (warm up games) while touring another country.

First class cricket follows the same rules as Test Cricket. However they can range between a 1-5 day matches. The only difference is the 'follow on' target which reduces from 200 (5 & 4 days) to 150 (3 days), 100 (2 days) 75 (1 day).
